In addition to the info you will find on the webpage, I can supplement with the following later history:

• In 2019 we decided to keep the Snowhotel all year round. With groundbreaking technology, using cooling pumps and insulating wadding, we made the Snowhotel 365. This is the only real 100 % icehotel standing 365 days a year, offering both visits and overnight. This added tremendous value to our Summer season, as well as being cost-saving and a more sustainable solution, compared to building again every winter.

• In 2020 we became part of the travel company Norwegian Travel, with base in Tromsø, although maintaining our clear identity.

• In 2023 our new Reception building stood ready, a piece of unique nordic architecture. It also comprises a inimitable art collection from North Scandinavian and Sami artists.

• In 2024 we build another restaurant, "Teina", tailored for our King Crab guests from all over the world, and in the shape of a giant King crab fishing pod.

• Currently we are building new Gamme Cabins with fjord view, by local engineers. The goal is to add 15 to our existing 20. This adds a new dimension to our overnight experience, combining the one night only in the cold Snowhotel with several nights in the warm, rough luxury of the Gamme Cabins.

• We are company with a strong local core, lead by our CEO Silje Randa from Kirkenes. During winter we are strengthened by workers from all over the world, all in all we are over 100 people, and a cornerstone of the region.

• Apart from the Overnight, and the Snowhotel, our biggest attractions are the King Crab Safari, and dogsledding tours. In addition we offer all sorts of arctic tours on Snow, and we are the biggest activity provider in North Norway. Also during summer and autumn we offer King crab tours by boat, as well as Husky hikes, fishing trips and the acclaimed cultural Sami Experience.
