Should I book Northern light tour in advance?

Northern lights can be hard to predict, and we do recomend that you book it in advance to be sure that you have a spot available.

Northern Lights conditions are hard to predict, sometimes the forecast is bad, but the result was amazing, sometimes the other way around. Weather changes very quickly here, as we are close to the coast, it can go very quickly from cloudy to clear, and vice versa. In addition, on the Northern Lights bus tour, we cover a big distance, increasing the chances of finding clear areas and Northern Lights.

For other Northern Light tours (husky and Snowmobile), we don`t cover that big distance as on the bus obviously, but the conditions for seeing lights are good, as we are well removed from any light pollution. These tours also have another element, which is the ride itself, of course.

There is no Northern Lights guarantee on our tours, as its a natural phenomenon. But we will always do our very best to find them.

All our tours have 48 hours change/cancellation policy. This is because we need to be able to plan ahead with guides and vehicles, and be able to offer the highest quality of the tour. This is why we always recommend our guests to book in advance before they arrive to us. On-spot we can always try to book spots, or make changes, but for tours the same or next day, it may be difficult.

We recommend you to check the weather forecast at sites like Yr or
