Advanced Dog Sledding at Camp Tamok
Guests arrive at Camp Tamok, where they are fitted with gear, receive sled control instructions, and embark on an exciting dog sledding adventure. After the ride, guests visit the dog yard, enjoy a hot meal, and unwind by the fire before returning to Tromsø.
- Difficulty Level: Advanced. This experience demands strength, fitness, and good physical condition, as guests may need to assist dogs on uphill or snowy terrain.
- Age Restrictions: Minimum age: 16 y/o. Recommended maximum age: 65 y/o. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate in this tour.
- Meeting Point: Samuel Arnesens gate 7, Tromsø.
- Duration: 09:00 - 16:00 (7 hours, including transfers).
Dog Sledding Adventure at Tamokhuset
Guests are divided into two groups upon arrival. While one group prepares for dog sledding, the other visits the dog yard and enjoys a meal. Activities alternate, ensuring all guests experience both sledding and camp activities.
- Difficulty Level: Medium. Basic physical fitness is required. The terrain is flat and open, ensuring a comfortable and easy sledding experience.
- Age Restrictions: Minimum age: 7 y/o. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in this tour.

- Duration: 09:30 – 16:00 (6.5 hours, including transfers).
