Which activities do you suggest for our group (Spring to Autumn)?

From a simple walk to the most exciting adventures, see the entertainment opportunities offered by Snowhotel

Suggested group autumn activities:
  • Low cost/included:
    • Tour of the snow hotel, dogyard and reindeer
    • A relaxing and scenic walk, either along our hiking trail on the mountains around the Snowhotel, or along the fjord out to the headland;
    • Borrow a meeting room with big big screen or use the dinner hall for having an activity, competition etc.
  • Entertainment:
    • Joik Experience with Sami artist John Henrik Mienna. Fits in the evening after dinner; Can be spiced up with a Joike competition for the participants;
    • Sami Experience: Joik and storytelling around the fire with John Henrik in our lavvo, also includes reindeer feeding. Suitable for up to 15 guests;
  • Activities:
    • Husky Wagon - available until 15.10. We can drive with 5 at a time, trip takes about 30 minutes;
    • Winter Early bird dog sled tour (from 20.10). We build on a snow trail with snow that we saved last year, and you can then take a dog sled ride, approx. 6 km. We can drive up to 20 guests at the same time;
    • King crab safari on RIB boats, including large meal. We drive out onto the Langfjord and pick up crab. Duration approx. 3 hours, but timing can be flexible according to your wishes;
    • Husky mountain hike (until 15.10). The guests will each bring a husky and we will go up to the mountain, admire and enjoy the unique natural arctic environment and - last but not least - grill sausages!
    • Floating in the fjord - We put on a floatation suit, go out in a boat, float in the fjord. You stay dry and mostly warm with the suits. Fun team building activity!
    • Visit to Andersgrotta, World War II bomb shelter, with guiding and film.
    • Russian border sightseeing bus tour: stops at Kirkenes, including Andersgrotta, and to the Storskog border crossing, can also stop at Pasvik.
The capacity for the activities is from 10 to 40 people, so we divide larger groups into several pools and have alternating activities.
